Dear Partner & Friend,

Very soon the shofar will sound, announcing the arrival of the final biblical holiday of the year, Sukkot, which is the Feast of Tabernacles. Already the trumpets are blowing, calling people to "teshuvah"–to return and repent in anticipation of the High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. This season prepares us for the abundant blessing of Sukkot, which is the last of three major festivals. When the Temple stood, Jews and Gentiles alike would gather in Jerusalem for special sacrifices, offerings and ceremonies to memorialize the holiday.

The celebration of the Feast of Sukkot holds the key to a special blessing that God wants to pour out on your life…and I want to be sure that you don't miss this amazing blessing! Ancient Jewish teaching says that Sukkot represents an opportunity to experience an incredible harvest. A harvest so abundant it will sustain you and your family through next Passover. It's a season in time when God is seeking to 'tabernacle' with you and release His presence over your life.

Don't miss this vital truth. God said in Deuteronomy 16:16 that on these special holidays every man was to appear before the Lord with a First Fruits offering–you could not appear empty-handed. There is a miracle revelation drawn from Malachi 3 that as we "return to the offerings of old" God will open the windows of heaven and pour out an unlimited blessing. The First Fruit offerings are those "offering of old" and they are the hidden key to the manifestation of the promise of poured out blessings.

Today I am writing you to sound a shofar like the priests of old to call you to remember what God has done for you…and to invite you to take a step that will change your destiny in every area of your life—spiritual, physical, financial, emotional–and allow to experience the fullness of the blessing that God has planned for you.

I'm sure you would agree with me that most of God's children are not enjoying that full blessing. The statistics tell us that financial and marriage problems are just as common in the Church as they are outside it.

Why is this happening? It's because the enemy has been successful at concealing the truth about Old Testament and the roots of our faith from the Church. Most people today read the Bible through the lens of Church tradition and our Western culture instead of approaching the Scriptures as Jesus and the Apostles did—as observant Jews.

Sukkot—the Feast of Booths–was a celebration of freedom. Each year the children of Israel were reminded of the way God lead them out of captivity in Egypt and provided for their needs as they journeyed through the wilderness. Each year they stopped and took time to remember and give thanks for all that God had done for them.

But Sukkot was more than just a time of celebration–it was also a time of sacrifice:

The Lord said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites: 'On the fifteenth day of the seventh month the Lord's Feast of Tabernacles begins, and it lasts for seven days. The first day is a sacred assembly; do no regular work. For seven days present offerings made to the Lord by fire, and on the eighth day hold a sacred assembly and present an offering to the Lord by fire. It is the closing assembly; do no regular work. So beginning with the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you have gathered the crops of the land, celebrate the festival to the Lord for seven days."
–Leviticus 23:33-36, 39

Sukkot was a harvest festival, when the people gathered before the Lord to bring their final First Fruits offering of the year. And it’s so critical that you understand this point. Remember that the First Fruits offerings hold the key to God's miraculous outpouring of provision in your life.

There are three main types of giving in the Scriptures. The tithe is the basic foundation of God's financial plan for your life. Ten percent of your increase is to be given to God. Next are offerings. These gifts over and above the tithe, like the tzedakah or charity offering, were given for the needs of others.

Most believers today at least know about these two types of giving. But it is the final type of giving, the First Fruits offering that unleashes the overflow of blessing. When Malachi talked about God opening the windows of Heaven to pour out a blessing that would be too large for us to receive, this is the outpouring that comes when we sow our First Fruits offerings.

Today I'm challenging you to sow a special First Fruits offering into the good soil of Larry Huch Ministries. Your gift to this ministry will take the Gospel to the world, teach the church the vital truths of the Jewish roots of our faith and meet the needs of the poor and the hungry. But it will do more than just minister to others.

Your gift will unleash the incredible blessings Malachi prophesies as you sow the Sukkot offering…and prepare yourself to receive the greatest harvest you have ever known. In just a few days, we will be holding Sukkot Freedom Weekend at New Beginnings. On Sunday, September 26 we will be receiving the First Fruits offering and I don't want you to miss out on the incredible blessings that are about to be unleashed in your life.

What you need to do today is determine the seed you will sow. Right now Tiz and I are praying about what our seed will be for this offering. We want to give everything that God wants us to give so that we can receive everything God wants us to have.

I urge you to send your gift today so that we can include it in the special Sukkot offering…and you can begin to enjoy the freedom and blessing that God wants to pour out on your life. God told His people through the prophet Malachi, "Prove Me." What He was saying was: give Me a chance–allow Me to show you what I can do for you. Allow me to open the windows of Heaven. Allow Me to pour out my blessings upon you. When you do, you will find that the blessings are so great you don't have enough room to store them!

That's what you receive when you send your Sukkot offering today.

And we also have some special gifts for you to thank you for your generous support of this ministry. When you send your gift of $50 or more this month, we have a special Sukkot Freedom Package prepared for you. This package includes the High Holy Days CD teaching series, which will give you a wealth of information about the celebration God wants you to have, a special 2010-2011 Jewish-Christian ministry calendar, and a half shekel coin. This special coin is a reminder to you of the offering Moses commanded the Israelites to give for the sanctuary. It is a token of the redemption and atonement you have received from God…and the blessings He promises to pour out when you give your offerings to Him.

When you send a gift of $200 or more, you will receive all of those items as well as a beautiful replica of the Ark of the Covenant. This sacred container rested in the very presence of God among His people. It held the Ten Commandments on the stone tablets God had given to Moses. Once a year the high priest sprinkled the atoning blood 7 times on the mercy seat on top of the Ark to cover the sins of the people. In addition we will also send you the 30, 60, 100 Fold Blessing CD Teaching to help you understand what God wants to do in your life.

If you are able to send a gift of $1000 or more, you will receive all of those items, as well as a large silver-plated temple shofar. This beautiful piece is made in Israel from a fulllength ram's horn and crafted in the same style as the shofars used by the priests of Israel. It is decorated with carved scenes from Jerusalem. Before we send your shofar, I will sound the very first note on it—dedicating your shofar personally and declaring that you and your family will be awakened to the miracle outpouring of God's blessing for this appointed time.

Sukkot is fast approaching. The time of the harvest is at hand. Don't miss out by failing to sow your seed. Send your best gift for Larry Huch Ministries today and enjoy the fullness of God's outpoured blessings in response to your First Fruits offering.

Reclaiming Our Inheritance Together,
